Worry Free Wednesday

The Wellness Ambassadors will hold “Worry Free Wednesday” in the Russell union commons on Aug. 30.

Worry Free Wednesday will start at 11 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. This event is held the last Wednesday of every month to help students cope with stress.

This event holds many activities that teaches students across Georgia southern healthy and effective ways to deal with stress.

Michelle Martin, director of university wellness program, hopes students learn techniques that they will be able to use after the event. Martin expects around 50 people to be at the event on Wednesday.

Some of the activities includes coloring, making stress balls, therapy dogs and various other de-stressing techniques.

The next “Worry Free Wednesday” will be Sept. 27, at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Russell Union Commons.
