Letter to the Editor

My name is Jessica Martin, I'm currently in my last semester of the School Psychology Ed.S. program.

I'm a double eagle, and in May, I will become on triple eagle.

I've walked across the stage at Paulson and Hanner to receive my diplomas and it was a very powerful, emotional experience both times.

This last degree is very meaningful to me because I had my daughter in the middle of the program and will still be graduating on time with a 4.0.

My family is very excited for me, but right now I don't even know where I'll be walking. The most recent update I read about graduate students was "Details are still being finalized, according to the website, but ceremonies will differ slightly."

It almost feels like we are an afterthought in all this. We have worked so hard and this uncertainty only adds to the stress we are under finishing up our degrees.
