Georgia Southern University announced recruits for volleyball, softball and men's basketball.

Several Georgia Southern sports have announced the signing of future athletes, including softball, volleyball and men's basketball.

Softball

Starting on the diamond the Eagles added a pair of infielders, Kiley Kross and Ashlynn Gunter. Kross hails from Miami, Florida and Gunter from Newnan, Georgia

In a press release, Head Coach Kim Dean talked about what the two signings can do for the Eagles.

Kiley Kross:

"We're excited to add Kiley to our squad. She continues our efforts to add depth to our middle infield, as well as adding some additional power to the middle of our order."

Ashlynn Gunter:

"Ashlynn comes to us from another winning program. She will look to give us some gap power at the corner infield position, and add depth to our already versatile roster."

Volleyball

The GS volleyball team announced the signing of four recruits, Camila Gomez from Santiago, Chile, Madison Brown from Lake City, Illinois Nicoleta Meyer from Morris, Illinois and Delaney DeCinces from Newport Beach, Calfornia.

GS Head Coach Dustin Woods talked in a press release about what these future Eagles can bring to the table.

"We are very pleased as a program about rounding out this 2018 recruiting class. My staff did a great job finishing out this class with some difference makers," Wood said. "We are bringing in some talent that will help us right away and this group will raise the level in our gym tremendously. I am excited to see what these kids can accomplish."

Men's Basketball

The men's basketball team announced the signing of a sophomore out of Columbia State Community College, Isaiah Crawley. The 6-foot-7 inch sophomore averaged just under 18 points in JUCO.

In a press release, Head Coach Mark Byington talked about the signing.

"Isaiah is a multi-dimensional player who impacts the game in many areas," Byington said. "He can score in many ways including making 3s, mid-range and attacking the rim. He is extremely athletic and has the ability to rebound at a high level. He will fit very well with returning players and the talented freshman entering our program next year."
