"We had great performances from guys that are deeper in our team," Head Coach John Murphy said. Our kids' effort and application was excellent and the quality and our connections were better tonight."
The team will take on South Carolina on Tuesday in the last non-conference game of the season
SC holds a 5-5 record going into the match and 0-3 in Conference USA, but undefeated at home

The team lost to Troy on Sunday, 4-1, on the road

"Another tough conference away game, against a strong Troy side,” Interim Head Coach Josh Moffet said. “We had some good looks on goal and hit the woodwork twice but to concede from 3 set pieces in any game isn't good enough and we must correct that in the build up to remaining Sun Belt games."
The team will play a 9-3-2 South Alabama team on Friday at 7 p.m.

“We talk about putting yourself back in the middle of the ring, and just keep punching and fighting and clawing, and they did that,” Head Coach Chad Willis said.

Swimming and Diving
The team fell to FGCU and Campbell on Saturday at home
Sophomore fly swimmer Melissa Cox had a first place finish in the 50 meter freestyle
Senior diver Gretchen Mossburg finished in third place in the 1 meter dive and third in the 3 meter dive
The team finished in first place at the GATA XC Classic
Sophomore runner Merabu Nagwandala finished in first place with a time of 18:36.59 in the 5k race
Sophomore Carley Braman and freshman Mattie Harris finished with season-best times in the 5k race
“We came out today trying a couple of different things to close out the race strong in the last mile," Head Coach Wesley Penberthy said. "We got quite a few season-bests today so it's an accurate representation having competed here previously."
The team defeated South Alabama, 20-17, in double overtime on Thursday in Mobile
Redshirt-senior Tyler Bass hit a 37-yard field goal to add the second victory of the season
Junior running back Wesley Kennedy III had a one-yard run in the fourth quarter to force OT
