Game times for five Georgia Southern games were announced Thursday. The Eagles' home opener from Paulson Stadium is scheduled for a 6 p.m. kickoff. 

Georgia Southern football announced kickoff times and channel coverage for five games in the upcoming 2019 season.

The Eagles will open the season against LSU August 31 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern in Baton Rouge on ESPNU. Maine’s visit for Paulson’s opener will start at 6 p.m.and display on ESPN+.

GS will begin its second Power Five away game at 3:30 at Minnesota and will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

The team also announced two conference game times that will air on national TV. Sun Belt cross division opponent South Alabama will visit for a matchup on Thursday, October 3 at 7:30, and the Eagles will show off against rival Appalachian State on a Thursday, October 31 in Boone at 8:00 p.m. Both games will air on ESPNU.

The November 9 game at Troy had already been announced as a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.

Game times for the remaining six games have yet to be released and may be delayed until up to 12 days before the game day as decided by television demand.
