Lauren Reichard (left), senior eagles volleyball player, was named preseason All-Sun Belt.

Senior Lauren Reichard has been named pre-season All-Sun Belt in a poll conducted by the 12 conference head coaches.

Reichard was previously named 2017 first-team All-Sun Belt selection while hitting .342 to lead the league - making her the seventh female Eagle to receive that award.

She was also second in blocks, averaging 2.53 kills and 1.18 blocks per set for the season.

Reichard, now a senior, is also a consistent server, serving 14 aces during the previous season.

Reichard is one of four starters returning to the court this season and starts the 2018 season ranked fifth on the GS career blocks list with 353, only 109 away from breaking school record.

The volleyball team is set to open at the West Virginia Invitational August 24-25, where they will face Wright State and University of Connecticut.
